The University of Dayton baseball program has added four more players to its incoming recruiting class. Outfielder Mitchell Nelson joins the Flyer baseball family as a junior college transfer while first baseman Joe Dorocak, infielder Brian Blasik and left handed pitcher Michael Guinane made formal commitments at the end of their prep careers. All four will join the team for the upcoming 2009 season.
Defending Atlantic 10 Champion Dayton was selected to finish second in the Atlantic 10 West Division in the A-10 Preseason Coaches Poll released Wednesday. Voting was conducted among the conference's 10 member head coaches with each person not allowed to vote for his or her own team.
